How to Create Facebook Ads Part 1 – The Campaign

Facebook can be a great way to get leads for your business.

If you’re not using Facebook advertisements yet, you’re losing out on a lot of great opportunities.

Some businesses are hesitant to use Facebook ads because they believe it is a difficult process.

And, to be honest, nothing could be further from the truth.

So, if you’ve set up your Facebook company page and are ready to start generating leads for possible sales, you’ve come to the right place!

Let’s start with the most important aspect of making a Facebook ad: the campaign!

Start by accessing ads manager

This is the first step in the process. You can access the ads manager via the business manager if you’re on a desktop.

If you’re using the desktop software, you can also use the Facebook ads manager mobile app.

Dots will appear in the top left corner of your screen.

Now let’s get down to business!

Creating a Facebook ads campaign

After clicking the dots on the top left corner of your screen, you will see a green “create “ button.

Click on it.

1.   The campaign objective

You’ll need to decide on a campaign objective. It’s important to define the goals you want to achieve before creating the correct business objective.

You have the option of creating brand awareness.

Select the “brand awareness” target in this situation. Similarly, use the “drive traffic” target if you wish to increase traffic.

Because Facebook optimizes ads differently based on your goals, you should set an objective that corresponds with your advertising goals.

2.   Campaign name

You’ll need a name for your campaign. This makes organizing campaigns much easier, especially if you plan to launch many campaigns.

Furthermore, measuring the performance of your campaigns is much easier as a result of this.

3.   Choose special ad categories

Now it’s time to make choices about the campaign as a whole.

To begin, you’ll need to choose special ad categories. This allows you to select the category in which your ad will display.

While this stage isn’t required, you should decide whether your ad campaign falls into one of the categories.

Second, determine whether A/B testing is required.

You may figure out which aspects of your marketing campaigns are more effective and capitalize on them by conducting experiments.

As a result, A/B testing is recommended to show you the most efficient approach to run your campaign.

Finally, there’s the matter of budgeting. All you have to do now is enable this feature.

The best way to allocate your budget on your numerous advertising is then determined by Facebook.

4.   Speaking of budget

Two of the most significant aspects of Facebook ad campaigns are budgeting and bidding.

You’ll begin by deciding on your budget type. You can choose between a daily or a lifetime budget.

Select a budget amount as well. Finally, decide on a start and end date.

5.   Audience targeting

You have a lot of options when it comes to targeting your audience with Facebook ads.

You can select between using a previously saved audience or creating a new Facebook audience here.

6.   Set placement

You can choose where your ads will show on Facebook’s network from this section.

Keep in mind, however, that the purpose of your marketing will have a big impact on where your adverts appear.

Facebook ads, for example, feed Facebook stories and search results.

7.   Finally, creating the ad campaign

After you’ve completed the above steps, you’re ready to create your Facebook advertising.

You can choose your ad image and copy here – keep in mind that these are highly crucial aspects of your ad because they will attract the user’s attention and talk a lot about your value proposition!

Final Thoughts

While it may appear that crafting the perfect ad is a difficult task, it is actually rather simple.

Facebook ad campaigns expose your company to a global audience and can help you grow your business.

As a result, it’s important to grasp the fundamentals of Facebook ads and apply them to your company!

As previously stated, the ad image and copy are two crucial components of your Facebook advertising, so proceed to part two of this article series to learn more about them!
